In 2008, Chris completed articles of clerkship at the Victorian Office of Public Prosecutions. He then worked for 12 months as a solicitor within the Principal Prosecutions Unit.

Before coming to the Bar, Chris worked for 3 years at Victoria Legal Aid in Melbourne. Whilst at VLA, Chris worked in the Advocacy Unit and in the Sexual Offences Unit.

Since coming to the Bar, Chris has developed a varied practice, focusing on all areas of criminal and public law. Chris has appeared in trials, committals, plea hearings, appeals against sentence and conviction (County Court and Court of Appeal).
