Profile

From November 2012 to August 2016, Christopher was Senior Associate to the Hon. Justice Priest in the Victorian Court of Appeal.

During his time at the Court of Appeal, Christopher assisted primarily with criminal appeals (including interlocutory applications) and quasi-criminal matters (including matters arising under the Serious Sex Offenders (Detention and Supervision) Act 2009 (Vic), the Major Crime (Investigative Powers) Act 2004 (Vic) and the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Cth)). 

In addition, Christopher also assisted his Honour in matters in the Trial Division of the Supreme Court, specifically criminal trials, pleas, applications for bail and proceedings under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997 (Vic).

He was admitted in December 2013 and signed the Roll of Counsel in October 2016.

Christopher read with Theo Kassimatis QC. Paul Holdenson QC is his senior mentor.

Christopher accepts briefs in criminal and quasi-criminal matters.
