Nancy accepts briefs in all areas of criminal law, diciplinary tribunal proceedings, regulatory matters and inquests. She also accepts briefs to advise and appear in TAC, RSPCA, WorkSafe and VBA matters as well as Commonwealth and local council prosecutions. 

Since coming to the bar Nancy has appeared in the Magistrates and County Courts in contested hearings, contested committals, plea hearings, appeals and applications for bail. She has been briefed in complex fraud matters both as sole counsel and junior counsel.

Prior to coming to the bar Nancy worked exclusively in the area of criminal defence at Dribbin & Brown Criminal Law where she was Managing Solicitor of their Ringwood office. As instructing solicitor, she was involved in complex criminal trials in the County and Supreme Courts.

Nancy also has a keen interest in the sciences, having studied genetics, chemistry and microbiology at University. She is well suited to cases involving technical analysis.

She read with Simon Moglia and her senior mentor was Lesley Taylor QC (now the Honourable Justice Taylor of the Supreme Court of Victoria).
