Travis accepts briefs in criminal and quasi-criminal law matters throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.
Before coming to the Bar, Travis was Associate to His Honour Judge Bill Stuart of the County Court for three years. During this time, he gained extensive experience of indictable criminal matters and was exposed to a wide range of proceedings including trials, pleas, bail applications, appeals from the Magistrates' Court and supervision order applications.
Since coming to the Bar, Travis has appeared in County Court pleas and appeals, as junior counsel in the County Court and Court of Appeal and in contested summary hearings in the Magistrates' Court.
Prior to his career in the law, Travis was a bookseller and bookshop owner for more than 15 years.
